- Provide items such as rattles or pots and pans to encourage your infant to explore sounds.
- Take turns babbling with your infant, imitating sounds like ba-ba and ma-ma.
- Sing songs and nursery rhymes during daily routines such as diaper changes and bath time.
- Provide your infant with a scarf or blanket with which to move or “dance” or play “peek-a-boo.”
- Play lap games like “Trot Little Horsey” and “This Little Piggy” throughout the day.
