The Self-Guided Learning Module for Everyday Literacy Activities is designed to be used as a self-study in which you can learn at your own pace. This module focuses on identifying everyday routines and activities in which adults can provide children with literacy learning opportunities.

The Daily Schedule Tool

This tool helps teachers identify when and where literacy learning experiences and opportunities can occur for children during the school day. The teacher can plan “how” to facilitate and support the children during these opportunities

CELL Mini Posters

The mini-posters are organized in two versions- one for parents and one for classroom teachers. They provide parents and teachers with simple ways to enhance daily activities and routines with literacy specific opportunities.

Early Childhood Classroom Interests Tool

This tool offers teachers a quick and easy way to identify and chart the interests of each child within their classroom. Teachers are also able to identify literacy activities already occurring and available to children every day. Included are versions for Infant/Toddler and Preschool use.

Everyday Literacy Learning Activity Checklist

The Everyday Literacy Learning Activity Checklist can be used as a tool for reflection with the teacher once he/she has had several opportunities to practice implementing everyday literacy learning activities.
